Abstract
Palazzo Marino, headquarters of the Municipality of Milan, in 2015 has been the subject of an energy diagnosis to identify and analyze potential energy optimizations of the building. The energy diagnosis has concerned only the plants, especially those related to generation. In order to correctly study the energy savings achievable for each of the possible adoptable scenarios, a dynamic simulation of the energy performance of the building has been implemented. Each proposed alternative has been analyzed under the energy, environmental and economic aspects. Afterwards, a multi-criteria analysis was carried out to compare the scenarios and find the best intervention. This case study demonstrates the importance of submitting to the person in charge of the intervention scenarios evaluated according to criteria that agree with its sensitivity and its expectations, clarifying every aspect involved in the analysis.
